Preoperative Goals

  • Cardio-respiratory stability
  • FiO2 < 50%
  • Resolved or non-reactive PH

Intraoperative Goals

  • Maintenance of euthermia and adequate ventilation, oxygenation
    and hemodynamics
  • Thermoregulation

Post-operative Care Goals

  • Adequate pain control
  • Prevention of surgical site infection/incision care
  • Maintenance of respiratory stability

Metrics

  • Time to full enteral nutrition with adequate growth trajectory
  • Time to extubation
  • Length of stay
