Care for Newborn with Preductal Oxygen Saturation ≥ 85%

  • Babygram to assess:
    • ETT placement
    • Inflation, avoid atelectasis and hyperinflation
    • Mediastinal shift and rule out pneumothorax
    • Salem Sump™ position and function, aim for adequate bowel decompression
  • Echo within first 24 hrs
  • Adjust ventilator based on ABG
  • Assess if sedation is adequate
  • Ensure appropriate vascular access
  • Brain ultrasound within 24 hrs
