Exton Diabetes Team: Thursday Elks

Meet the team that will care for diabetes patients on Thursdays at CHOP Specialty Care, Exton.

Endocrinologist: Rose D’Arcangelo, MD

Rose D'Arcangelo, MD, has been with CHOP’s Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes since 2016. She initiated the division's Lancaster satellite location and also sees diabetes and endocrine patients at the Exton Specialty Care Center. She graduated from Temple University and received her MD from Penn State.

Nurse Practitioner: Michelle McLoughlin, MSN, CRNP

Michelle McLoughlin, MSN, CRNP, graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then began her career as a staff nurse on the inpatient endocrine floor at CHOP (5 West B), where she worked closely with new onset diabetes patients and their families. In 2015, Michelle graduated from the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Nursing. She then began working as a pediatric nurse practitioner as a member of the Adrenal and Puberty Center at CHOP, where her specialties included growth and puberty development. She currently lives in Phoenixville with her husband, 2-year-old daughter, dog and two cats. She is excited to be joining the Diabetes Center for Children and looks forward to working with your family!

Diabetes Educator: Trish Lieberman, MS, RD, LDN, CDCES

Trish Lieberman, MS, RD, LDN, CDCES, joined our division in 2017 as a diabetes educator and has been working with families in the Buerger Center on the Philadelphia Campus. She graduated with her Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Drexel University in 2010. Her specialties include pediatric type 1 and type 2 diabetes, insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors,and disordered eating that overlaps with diabetes. Trish practices with a compassionate and individualized approach. Trish lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, daughter and golden retriever. In her free time, she enjoys family walks, reading and bike rides.

Social Worker: Stephanie Nickerson, LCSW, MSW

Stephanie Nickerson, LCSW, MSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, who is a recent addition to the CHOP Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes. She graduated with her BSW from Sacred Heart University in 2015 and her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Stephanie received her LCSW in 2019. Stephanie is excited to join the team to support patients and families impacted by diabetes! Stephanie currently lives in South Jersey with her two cats and enjoys cooking for her family in her free time.

Nutrition: Kelly Lord, MA, RD, CDCES, LDN

Kelly Lord, MA, RD, CDCES, LDN, has been a member of our division since 2011. She graduated with her MA in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University and undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from West Chester University. Kelly specializes in pediatric type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Kelly lives in Exton with her husband, two children, dog and cat. She enjoys traveling, going to the beach, family trips to Disney World and stand-up paddle boarding.
