Description

The main goal of this study is to learn more from patients and their families about potential barriers of exercise and receptiveness to various interventional trial designs in survivors of childhood craniopharyngioma.
Young adult survivors (ages 18 to 26) and/or parents/adult caregivers of elementary school-age children (5-11 years old) and adolescents (12-17 years old) who have had craniopharyngiomas will be invited to participate in a focus group session.
Individuals with craniopharyngiomas must be at least 6 months since diagnosis and not currently undergoing active treatment for their tumors (e.g., radiation).

Groups will contain approximately 6-10 adult participants (parent, adult caregiver, and/or young adult survivor). This session will be conducted remotely via a secure video platform.
Medical record review will be completed prior to participation in the focus group. We will also request that participants complete some brief questionnaires about exercise habits and quality of life prior to participation in the focus group.
