Circumcision
A circumcision is the removal of the foreskin from the head, or glans, of the penis. Circumcisions are usually performed by an obstetrician in the hospital. Sometimes your obstetrician or pediatrician will want your son to be evaluated by a pediatric urologist prior to a circumcision.
