Intestinal polyps are commonly removed during colonoscopy. The polyp is a growth on the surface of the colon. Polyp removal, as demonstrated in this video clip, is one of the interventions performed at the Kohl's GI Nutrition and Diagnostic Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
