Towel Rub Desensitization for Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain
Towel rubs can be completed at any time of the day. However we want you to try and incorporate this into your daily routine. For example after taking a shower, you will have to obtain a towel or wash that you will use throughout the activity. After you've chosen a towel, identify the specific area on your body with Allodynia. With firm pressure, rub in all directions for three to five minutes. This is the correct way. This the incorrect technique. You can also tell rub your own back making sure to rub in all directions. Preferably, this towel rubbing would be done on your bare skin.
