If your child has kidney disease, it's very important to limit the amount of phosphorus in his diet. Use this list to help you identify foods that are low in phosphorus to help maintain kidney health.

These kidney-friendly foods  are low in potassium and can help your child maintain kidney health. You'll also find a list of foods high in potassium that should be limited in people with kidney disease.

Reducing your child's sodium intake can help improve kidney health. Instead of salt, use herbs, spices, lemon, garlic and oils as seasonings. This resource includes a list of kidney-friendly foods and a list of foods you should limit.
