Our National Patient Services team is here to provide an easy and streamlined experience for families and referring physicians, including:
- Ongoing communication between CHOP and referring physicians
- Centralized coordination of intake process to facilitate prompt access to care
- Personalized service by an experienced clinical intake team
- Financial clearance support for navigating out-of-state insurance plans
- Intake team available to you 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday

Online Remote Medical Consultation Program
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia specialists offer in-person second opinions at CHOP to any patient and in select clinical areas offer remote consultations for patient families who reside in certain states throughout the country. The remote consultation program allows our pediatric specialists to review a patient's medical records virtually and provide a consultation report that answers specific questions based on the information provided.
