Center for Diagnostic Innovation

The Center for Diagnostic Innovation (CDI) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is a hub for pioneering diagnostic development, offering advanced and esoteric testing for rare diseases, oncology, and inborn errors of metabolism. With CAP and CLIA accreditation, CDI enables compliant assay development for both clinical use and clinical trial support, including Phase I studies. Our work spans biomarker discovery, assay development, validation, and implementation—helping accelerate diagnostics for children worldwide. CDI combines world-class clinical and scientific expertise with a commitment to innovation, and we actively partner with academic, clinical, and biopharma collaborators to co-develop and deploy precision diagnostics. To learn more or discuss partnership opportunities, contact us at clinicallaboutreach@chop.edu.
