The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DLMP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) uses state-of-the-art technology to provide comprehensive diagnostic services to clinicians at CHOP as well as other hospitals, outside laboratories and research institutions. The DLMP is a respected fixture within CHOP by virtue of our clinical leaders that bring a high level of experience, knowledge and clinical competence to our department. Our outreach program allows us to extend access to our testing and clinical experts to other institutions across the country and around the world. Services of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are provided according to Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure and are in compliance with current established techniques. All services meet the regulatory requirements of the State Health Department, CLIA 88, FDA, AABB, CAP and JCAHO.
