Access and navigate Link2CHOP

We highly encourage you to use Link2CHOP, an electronic portal for referring physician offices that provides read-only access to the CHOP Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). Link2CHOP enables you to:  

  • Check the current status of your patient visiting CHOP  
  • Place and track consult requests
  • Review CHOP chart information for your patients

New users should click here for instructions. This resource is for Advocare users who have already been onboarded to Link2CHOP but need support logging in.

Talk to a CHOP colleague  

Try our Clinical Priority Phone Line. Call 1-800-TRY-CHOP (1-800-879-2467) and press 2 to be connected with a clinician in the subspecialty you specify. Please do not use this line for ongoing medical management. To facilitate this conversation, please provide a cell number for the clinician who is requesting the conversation. If providing a secondary (backline) number, we don’t want you to miss the call-back from the specialist! Please let your staff know that you are expecting a call-back.

Contact the Emergency Department. Connect with a CHOP Enterprise Medical Command Physician specializing in Emergency Department requests.

Call the Transport Communication Center at 215-590-2160. If you want to speak to an emergency physician for advice on a patient you are sending to the ED, ask to speak with the Emergency Medical Command Physician when you call.

Additional referral considerations

Acne Express: CHOP offers virtual consultations for acne concerns through Acne Express. Acne Express is available for patients between the ages of 8 and 17 years old in New Jersey or Pennsylvania who have a MyCHOP account.

Endocrinology Guide and Referral Pathway: This guide offers details about common clinical questions, congenital hypothyroidism, elevated HbA1c, puberty labs, conditions, CHOP's referral triage system and contact details.

CHOP is now offering on-demand CME credit opportunities for our Advocare Network providers via CHOP's Continuing Education Portal.
