Background

Stephanie Porco has substantial experience in injury prevention. She received her BS in Kinesiology after performing an independent study, in conjunction with an exercise physiologist, on preventing falls by improving balance. Stephanie has extensive experience as a Child Passenger Safety Technician and Instructor, locally and nationally.  She’s taken part in national events such as National Walk to School Day, National Child Passenger Safety week in Walt Disney World, and GM’s national campaign, Main Street in Motion. As a Safe Transportation for Children with Special Healthcare Needs Instructor, Stephanie has travelled throughout Pennsylvania educating healthcare professionals. Locally, she educates at community events such as car seat inspection stations and the Philadelphia Auto Show. She also manages the Safety Center at CHOP, the Mobile Safety Center, and Car Seat Program.
