Anna M. Simon, MSN, CPNP, is a clinical nurse coordinator for Global Patient Services at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Anna coordinates care for international patients and facilitates communication between referring physicians and the CHOP hospital staff. She provides ongoing case management for each patient from initial contact to time of discharge. Anna brings specialized experience in the care for children with complex chest wall and spine deformities including children requiring growth sparing instrumentation such as the VEPTR (Vertical Expandable Prosthetic Titanium Rib) and Growing Rods.

Anna has worked in CHOP’s Emergency Department as a registered nurse and a pediatric nurse practitioner. Additionally, she was an inpatient nurse practitioner and program manager at the Center for Thoracic Insufficiency Syndrome. She brought her nursing experience to rural Alaska as the Director of the Community Health Aide Program & Education for the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation. There, she managed numerous community health programs including the Community Health Aide Field Supervision Program, the Health Aide Training Center, the Credentialing Department, the EPSDT (Well Child) Program and the Immunization Program. Anna also brings experience working at the US Food and Drug Administration as a Regulatory Health Project Manager.
