CHOP Celebrates First Annual Cardiac Family Fun Day

Published on

Cardiac Family Fun Day 2018 On May 6, 2018, more than 500 patients and families from the Cardiac Center at CHOP came together to celebrate the first annual Cardiac Family Fun Day! The event gave patients and families the opportunity to reconnect with their medical teams and share their experiences with other Cardiac families.

The Cardiac Center at CHOP cares for babies prior to birth, infants, children, and young adults with congenital and acquired heart conditions. Our team is one of the largest and most accomplished in the world. We have more than 125 experts, including pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care intensivists, pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants. These experts are pioneers in the treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions, and international leaders in diagnosis, patient care, research and education.

The event was featured on CBS3.
