CHOP Hosts the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer’s 2022 Summit

On June 21–23, 2022, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) hosted the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer’s (CAC2) 2022 Summit, titled “Together, Forward” and presented by Day One Biopharmaceuticals. Featured topics included:

  • Is Five-Year Survivorship the Right Metric for Childhood Cancer?
  • International Cooperation and its Importance to Progress for Childhood Cancer
  • Educational Planning for Parents and Organizations During Treatment and Beyond

Summit attendees were also able to join a tour of the biorepository and labs within the Children’s Brain Tumor Network, a multi-institutional brain tumor research program with its operations housed at the Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b) at CHOP.

This annual summit reflects the CAC2 values and mission by providing educational programming, designing multiple opportunities for members to connect and engage, and showcasing the ongoing work of members who are working for a future without childhood cancers.
