Two girls smiling with new haircuts On Sunday, April 8, more than 30 patients from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) enjoyed a day of pampering at Salon l’Etoile in Jenkintown. This annual event is timed with prom season and allows patients of all ages to receive salon services such as hair color, makeup and nail treatments – complimentary. More than 20 salon operators donated their time for the day.

Each year, the event serves as a reminder of what is possible for our patients, and is designed to leave them with smiles and a boost in their self-esteem.

The event was highlighted in several local broadcast segments from outlets including 6ABC, PHL17, CBS3, CW Philly and NBC10. Read the online stories from CBS3, MSN.com, and Montgomery County News.
