Patients Attend Annual Day of Beauty Event

Day of Beauty Event More than 30 patients who have been treated in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), along with their families, gathered at Millennium Hair and Day Spa in Wynnewood, PA, on Sunday, April 28, 2019, for a full day of pampering.

Timed with prom season, each year patients have an opportunity to complimentarily receive the salon’s most popular offerings, including haircuts, hair color, manicures and makeup. Nearly all patients in attendance live with a craniofacial difference. Over 20 staff members from the salon donated their time and services for the day — all focused on boosting patients’ self-esteem so that they leave with smiles.
