“I am truly humbled to be able to serve such an important population of families, honored to have been nominated and continue to be blessed to work with the best team of colleagues, community partners and volunteers in the audacious work offered by the HHI,” Hudson says.

“In a community so rich with mission-oriented organizations doing great things, it’s wonderful to see recognition of CHOP’s Homeless Health Initiative as a key partner in helping families in need improve health outcomes for their children,” says Peter Grollman, CHOP’s Senior Vice President for External Affairs, which oversees HHI. “Karen, the HHI staff and all the HHI volunteers help families move toward being on an equal footing by providing pediatric healthcare, health information, wellness programming and other supports.”
