Our Division of Nephrology continues to grow, with several new team members. See below to meet our new fellows and advanced practice providers.
New Nephrology Fellows
Rachel Finkel, MD: Dr. Finkel completed medical school at New York Medical College and pediatrics residency at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Dr. Finkel is enjoying her first fall in Philadelphia. She loves the beautiful trees and scenery and exploring all the kids’ activities with her husband and toddler.
Stephanie Kerkvliet, MD: Dr. Kerkvliet completed medical school and pediatrics residency at University of Minnesota. Dr. Kervliet’s favorite thing about CHOP is getting to work with her co-fellows every day. She has also greatly enjoyed exploring Philadelphia and finding so many great places to eat!
Arthur Lee, MD: Dr. Lee completed medical school at University of Virginia School of Medicine and pediatrics residency at CHOP. Dr. Lee’s favorite thing about CHOP is all the amazing learning, the mentorship, and his coworkers.
New Advanced Practice Providers
Julie Mongiello, CRNP: Julie is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She joined our Division of Nephrology in July 2022 after working in CHOP Day Medicine for four years. Julie had previous experience in Nephrology, primarily treating transplant patients from 1998 to 2003. She will see patients in outpatient clinics in the Buerger Center, Brandywine Valley and King of Prussia.
Jon Savant, PA-C: Jon is a certified physician assistant (PA-C). He received his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Drexel University. Jon joined our Division of Nephrology in 2019. In addition to seeing kidney transplant patients, Jon will now also see patients with Dr. Kevin Meyers in CHOP’s Hypertension Clinic.
