Jarae Payne, MSN, CRNP

Jarae joined the Cardiac Center ICU team in 2012 as a Clinical Nurse. She has gained her CICU experience from 2012 to present and during this time achieved Peak II status amongst her peers. Over the course of her CICU experience, she held many roles; such as, Charge Nurse, Primary Preceptor, Clinical Resource Nurse, Cardiac Center Team Leader, Navigator Program mentor, and so many more leadership roles.

Professionally, her passion to care for families and children with congenital heart disease and acquired pediatric heart disease remains strong.  She recently had a publication accepted and pending print on “Administering Home Milrinone: Evaluating Safety and Efficacy.” Not only has she published, she has also presented and educated on many topics; such as, “Transition to Practice”, “Cardiac Center Skills”, “Infusion Class” and many “Snack and Learn” sessions.
