Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease
More than 80,000 children in the United States live with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), causing chronic abdominal pain, diarrhea and other bowel symptoms. While there is no cure for IBD, it can be successfully treated.
The Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease is one of the largest centers of its kind in the U.S., providing care for about 1,800 children each year from around the world. Patients come to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to receive individualized care and the latest treatments and to participate in clinical research studies. We can help your child achieve their optimal health.
