Hip Disorders Program
Whether your child is a premature infant with a congenital hip deformity, a teen with a newly developed hip problem or a young adult with lingering effects of pediatric hip disease, the Hip Disorders Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is available to help. Our coordinated team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all pediatric hip disorders. We treat infants, children, teens and young adults with all types of hip disorders.
We offer a full range of diagnostic testing (such as MRI, CT scans and X-rays), as well as individualized, disease-specific MRI protocols including cartilage mapping technology, perfusion MRI and 3D reconstructions. By better visualizing the entire hip, our clinical team can provide a more accurate diagnosis and help guide surgical treatment if needed.
