Laura Murphy, MS, PA-C is part of the CICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Laura graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. Subsequently, she attended Jefferson East Falls (Philadelphia University) and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Laura comes with a vast experience in both pediatrics and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease practicing as a Cardiac Critical Care Physician Assistant. She started her career at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in the Cardiac Catheterization lab participating in the pre- and post- catheterization process and participating as first assist in the Cardiac Catheterization lab. Subsequently, worked at Golisano Children’s Hospital as a Frontline Clinician caring for both pediatric and adult patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. Most recently, comes from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she not only practiced as a frontline clinician in the CICU but also first/second assisted in congenital heart surgeries.
