Background

As a clinical nurse specialist, my role is to support clinical care for children with cancer in the Outpatient Oncology Clinic. I especially enjoy improving our systems to constantly keep patient and staff safety at the forefront of our care. I have been involved with various safety initiatives at CHOP and presented posters that focus on improving patient safety. I also have a passion for education. I love teaching patients and families as well as other nurses!

Over the 10 years that I have worked in pediatric oncology, I have been most impressed by the multi-disciplinary teamwork involved in caring for our patients and families.
