Background

In her role as a certified child life specialist in the Richard D. Wood Jr. Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment (CFDT), Special Delivery Unit (SDU), and Neonatal/Infant Intensive Care Unit (N/IICU), Mary Margaret Sheehy, CCLS, (Meg) collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to help support families during their outpatient prenatal visits, during their delivery and stay on the SDU, and during their time in the N/IICU.

As a child life specialist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Meg has been able to strengthen her skills and grow her passion for working with both patients and families. Meg enjoys utilizing her creativity and empathetic side, while continuing to have meaningful interactions with patients, families, and staff. Outside of work, she enjoys being active outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
