Camouflaging and Codeswitching in Black Autistic and Non-Autistic Youth
The primary objective of this study is to measure camouflaging behaviors (i.e., behaviors that hide autistic symptoms), codeswitching (e.g., behaviors employed to fit in with a majority culture), and social compensation (i.e., behaviors that explicitly support social interaction) in Black and/or African American teenagers with and without ASD using online self-report questionnaires.
