Background

Dr. Burnham is Clinical Director and Quality Improvement Leader in the Division of Rheumatology at CHOP. He is also Director of the Lupus Program and Co-Director of the Lupus Integrated Nephritis Clinic, both at CHOP, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Burnham directs the Division of Rheumatology quality and patient safety efforts and the Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program. His research addresses new ways to help improve outcomes for children with conditions like arthritis, lupus and mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). He has worked at CHOP since 1997 and is excited to work with a dedicated team caring for children and adolescents with lupus/MCTD.
