  • Dr. Miller was very thorough and met my child at her level. Mental health can be difficult to navigate but Dr. Miller was kind, took time to listen and explain. The appointment ran over and probably threw off her schedule but Dr. Miller was not rushed and it made such a difference to my daughter and to me.

  • Dr. Miller was very validating as to how alarming our toddler's illness was and at the same time very reassuring about his recovery. She thoroughly assessed him and discovered the beginning of an ear infection. With this finding, she explained her thoughts regarding the options of using antibiotics versus monitoring our child and invited us to be a part of deciding how we would like to proceed. We felt heard, understood, confident and very much a part of his care. We look forward to partnering with Dr. Miller in our child's future care.

  • Dr Miller was thorough in her examination. She asked questions to get to the root of the problems and tried to gather as much information to make an informed recommendation about my daughter's care. She discussed all of the risks in a manner that my daughter could understand and she displayed excellent bedside manner. We felt comfortable and confident in her care.

  • Dr. Miller is by far the most compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable pediatrician I have ever met. I was her patient many years ago as a child and I knew when I was pregnant with my first baby that she would be their pediatrician. Almost 9 years have passed and I'm still so thankful for her guidance and astute diagnostic skills over the years.

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
