Approximately 20% of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) develops prior to 18 years of age, and the diagnosis can take years. Please join us for an engaging presentation on childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE), led by Drs. Sarah Bayefsky and Sarah Capponi. This talk was developed and sponsored by the American College of Rheumatology and The Lupus Initiative. The purpose of the Teaching Fellows in Lupus Project (TFLP) is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of prescribing clinicians to recognize the signs and symptoms of lupus, form a differential diagnosis, and make appropriate referrals to Rheumatology.
