How to Support HHI During the Coronavirus Pandemic

doctor and nurse at hospital The Homeless Health Initiative (HHI) is responding to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by adjusting our day-to-day practices according to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and CDC recommendations. We hope your loved ones are safe and healthy during this difficult time.

To ensure the safety and well-being of families and staff in shelters, and also our medical volunteers and team, the HHI team is working remotely until further notice. This means that our on-site shelter programming is currently on hold, but there are still opportunities to support families experiencing homelessness at this time. If you are interested in supporting us and our shelters during this challenging time, you can learn more about each shelter via their websites below.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness, generosity, and support.

Make a Monetary Donation to HHI

Philanthropic donations of all sizes power the coordinated, family-focused care provided to mothers and children by the Homeless Health Initiative. By donating to CHOP, you will help ensure that mothers, fathers and children living in local emergency housing shelters receive free medical and dental care, health education, and social skills training. You’ll also become our partner as we help these families begin their new lives. Donate now.
