After Allison Reed started feeling a tingling sensation in her legs, she went through numerous tests that revealed she had multiple sclerosis (MS).

6ABC Action News featured Allison’s story and interviewed her doctors at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

According to Brenda Banwell, MD, chief of the Division of Neurology, MS is unusual in children and teens, though it does occur.
