CHOP’s first Community Day on June 1, 2015, was a tremendous success, with more than 100 people in attendance. The event was an opportunity for the public, community leaders and CHOP employees to learn more about the work CHOP employees are doing outside of the walls of the Hospital to promote health and wellness for children and families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey.

The morning was filled with networking, oral presentations, and poster presentations by community programs to bring together Community leaders with CHOP employees doing important work in the community. It also provided employees who received funding from the CHOP Cares Grant Program with a chance to showcase their new programs and projects.

Programs highlighted during the morning included:

A sincere thank you to everyone who presented, attended or tabled at the event.

Please contact Falguni Patel, community relations manager, if you have any questions about the event or CHOP’s community work, in general.
