ADL WALK Against Hate

CHOP employees at ADL Walk Against Hate On May 15, employees from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia took a stride in the right direction by participating in the 2016 Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Walk Against Hate at the Navy Yard.

The Office of Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion teamed up to show CHOP’s support for diversity in Philadelphia and around the world.

Pride@CHOP also hosted a table in the Diversity Expo, asking participants to “tell us why you are special.”

Philadelphia Science Festival

CHOP celebrated Philadelphia’s love for science during the 2016 Philadelphia Science Festival.

The Center for Injury Research and Prevention, Center for Childhood Communication, Vaccine Education Center, Poison Control Center, Emergency Medicine Department, and the CHOP Research Institute participated in various events throughout the week. Some of the event themes included the dangers of button batteries, concussions, healthy hearing and vaccinations, to name a few.
