CHOP Employees Volunteer in their Communities CHOP employees have enjoyed a number of recent volunteering opportunities in our community coordinated by our Community Relations team, including Sarah Gibbons, Amanda Evans and Michele Ryan.

In December, more than 50 CHOP employees volunteered at Philadelphia City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell’s annual Holiday Party at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City, Philadelphia, helping to serve meals to the homeless, wrap presents, and assist with activities at the event.

Also, for the second year in a row, CHOP partnered with Global Citizens 365 for the 21st Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service. On Jan. 18, 2016, a number of CHOP employees volunteered at Vare-Washington High School and Jackson Andrew School, painting, cleaning, organizing closets, and helping in the library. Another group volunteered with the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia to help clean up the parks in South Philadelphia.

Thank you all for making a difference in our communities!
