CHOP Family Talks About Life-Saving Transplant

January 11, 2012 — CHOP parent Allison Kadi shared her family's story of organ donation for a January 2012 article in The Intelligencer. Allison's daughter, Nadia, received a new liver from a deceased teenage girl in 2007. Nadia was just a year and a half old, and the transplant saved her life.

Now the mother of a happy, outgoing kindergartener, Allison will be forever grateful for a young girl's choice to become an organ donor.
