The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, has awarded 90 new grants totaling $23.5 million to support the brightest minds in the pediatric cancer field. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been awarded four grants:
- Stephen Hunger, MD: $477,608
- Shannon Maude, MD, PhD: $115,000
- Sarah Richman, MD, PhD: $329,999
- Andrei Thomas-Tikhonenko, PhD: $124,999
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants dedicated to finding new treatments and cures for childhood cancers — the only way to save more lives.
