CHOP Welcomed Members of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Celebrated a Long-standing Relationship Built on Mutual Commitment to Improve the Care of Pediatric Patients

Saudi Royal Embassy members and CHOP leadership To celebrate a long-standing relationship built on their mutual commitment to improve the care of pediatric patients within Saudi Arabia, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) welcomed members of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia to observe the world-class experience the country’s patients receive at CHOP.

On Friday, September 17, 2021, Madeline Bell, President and Chief Executive Officer at CHOP, and Stephan Grupp, MD, Chief of the Cellular Therapy and Transplant Section, welcomed Tariq Alluhaidan, Director of the Health Attaché Office and IT Department Head, Abdullah I. Musatat, Director of Finance, and Amany Harhash, Medical Advisor. They were joined by Trude Haecker, MD, Medical Director of Global Patient Services at CHOP, and Ruth Frey, MSN, CHOP’s Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development.

During the visit, the Royal Embassy members met with CHOP leadership and visited Saudi patients, who have turned to CHOP for outstanding medical care. They also discussed the remarkable translational research and innovation being driven by the CHOP’s physician-scientists.
