Hyundai Hope On Wheels Awards CHOP $400k for Childhood Cancer Research

Research Grants Awarded in Honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Hyundai Hope on WheelsOn Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015,  Hyundai Hope On Wheels awarded CHOP a $400,000 Hyundai Scholar Hope Grant to fund childhood cancer research led by Dr. Alix Seif, named as Hyundai Scholar Senior Researcher, and Dr. Robert Schnepp, named as Hyundai Scholar Young Investigator.

The newly named Hyundai Scholars will use the funds to bolster their research regarding acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and neuroblastoma. Following the grant ceremony, Hope On Wheels commemorated CHOP patients affected by cancer by capturing their handprints on a white 2016 Hyundai Tuscon.
