The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia launched the IknowUshould2 campaign in September 2012, primarily targeting youth ages 13–17 years old in Philadelphia, aiming to improve knowledge about and increase testing for sexually transmitted infections and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The campaign used a youth-driven, health behavior theory-based approach combining traditional media, new media (website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), campaign events, and community outreach and partnership.

The campaign resulted in a large increase in the number of total tests and the proportion of visits at which Syphilis and HIV testing were conducted.  For more information on the campaign and its results, please see the IknowUshould2 website and the manuscript published in the AIDS and Behavior Journal in January 2015.
