June 20, 2013 — Groundswell Design Group delivered a newly donated planter to the Sea Garden this month, and today CHOP patients and volunteers filled it with tomatoes, beans and herbs.
Some of the garden’s bounty is ready for picking: parsley, peppers, cabbage, kale and radishes. Many of the vegetables grown in the rooftop garden are used with patients in the Occupational Therapy kitchen.
