Two leaders from CHOP's Government Affairs, Community Relations & Advocacy's staff pedaled 100 miles from Gettysburg to Annville on the “Scarnati/Stack 100 — Bike Ride for Children’s Hospitals." Participating from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia were Jonathan Hood, state and local Government Affairs manager, and Peter Grollman, vice president of Government Affairs.

The charity ride was sponsored by State Sen. Joe Scarnati III (R-Jefferson), state senate president pro tempore, and Lt. Gov. Mike Stack. The event has raised more than $900,000 during the past six years for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, and Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
