Pediatric Optometrist Ayesha Malik, OD, Joins Division of Ophthalmology

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ayesha Malik, OD, as a pediatric optometrist in the Division of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Malik received her Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry. She graduated with clinical honors and was the recipient of the Varilux Student Grant award. Her clinical training experience is extensive and includes internships at Boston Children’s Hospital, Veterans Hospitals of Philadelphia and Rhode Island, and at a private practice in New Jersey.

Dr. Malik practiced as a senior optometrist in private practice in England before returning to the United States. Upon her return to the U.S., she held a position working at the Scheie Eye Institute of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Dr. Malik is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa (International Optometric Honor Society) and the American Optometric Association. She resides in New Jersey and enjoys world travel, cooking and photography.

Dr. Malik is available to see patients for routine eye exams at Children’s Hospital’s Main Campus in Philadelphia, as well as the CHOP Specialty Care Centers in King of Prussia and Exton, PA.
