pediatric research group In October, the Children’s Brain Tumor Tissue Consortium launched the CAVATICA portal, which answers the Cancer Moonshot’s call to de-silo data and catapults pediatric research to the forefront of data-sharing.

The portal enables a wide range of researchers to collaboratively access, share, and rapidly analyze data collected about diseases impacting children, including pediatric cancers, congenital disorders, and rare diseases such as epilepsy and autism. The newly accessible data will allow researchers to make faster progress toward treatments and cures for pediatric cancer and other childhood diseases.
