Katherine Belle, who was diagnosed with a genetic mutation that has been implicated in a rare mitochondrial Complex I disorder, came under the care of Marni Falk, MD, Executive Director of Mitochondrial Medicine, a Frontier Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
The Pennsylvania Gazette featured Katherine’s story and CHOP’s Mitochondrial Medicine’s translational research efforts to partner with families and identify precision medicines for rare diseases.
