Sports Medicine Team Volunteers for Student Athlete Screening

July 21, 2011 — Jamila Aberdeen, PT, Jeff Albaugh, PT, Ken Knect, PT, and Meghan Mattson, ATC, volunteered to perform musculoskeletal screenings for pre-participation physicals for Philadelphia School District student athletes on June 4, 2011.

The screenings, sponsored by the Athletic Health Organization (AHO), were held at the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University. 

During the event, 742 student athletes underwent health screenings. Mayor Nutter, Eagles player Jamar Cheney, and members of the Philadelphia Soul also attended the event.
