Thanksgiving in the Country, Final Year

October 1, 2013 — The 40th and final year of Thanksgiving in the Country was held on Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 in Sergeantsville, NJ.

The house tour began in 1973 under the direction of Founding Chairwoman Harriet Fisher to benefit children with cleft palate cared for by The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Thanksgiving in the Country organizers and supporters, the tour has donated more than $400,000 to the Facial Reconstruction Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, part of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
