Description
The purpose of this study is to collect and store data samples, such as stool, saliva, mouth swabs, and dental plaque specimens for research about the microbiome. The microbiome is a collection of the microbes, or very small forms of life, that live on and inside the human body.
Eligibility and criteria
What to expect
This study will enroll male and female subjects of any age who have weakened immune systems, such as patients undergoing stem cell transplant and those receiving treatment for cancer. Participants are asked to provide stool, saliva, mouth swabs, and dental plaque specimens for up to one year after their treatment. The study team will also review participants' medical records and retrieve any leftover samples that are collected as a part of normal care.
