Solid Tumor Research

Solid tumors are abnormal collections of cells that can form in bones, muscles organs and other tissues. Researchers at the Center for Childhood Cancer Research are using state-of-the-art imaging techniques to evaluate tumors, and molecular and cell biological approaches to better understand tumor biology. The aim of the Solid Tumor team is to improve existing treatment regimens and develop new therapies for children with solid tumors.
