When your child has cystic fibrosis (CF), a dedicated cystic fibrosis program can be your partner in care and help address their needs at every stage.

The Cystic Fibrosis Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) focuses on promoting normal growth and development, slowing disease progression, and preventing and treating complications of CF. We understand the key role parents play in the treatment team. We provide training to enhance caregivers' skills and knowledge for at-home care. We also teach your child about their disease and how to take care of themselves so they grow up with the tools to be independent.

How we serve you

Since cystic fibrosis affects many body systems — pulmonary, digestive, reproductive, endocrine and others — the CF Center takes a comprehensive approach to care that supports your whole child. From support for dealing with the progressive path of CF, to the stresses of daily treatment routines and the transition to adult care, we're here at every step.
